What a week!

OH MY GOODNESS! Have you ever had one of those weeks where SO much goes bonkers?!? A couple of weeks ago ALL three of our cars ended up breaking down and in the shop within days of each other! My second oldest daughter, who uses her car (2010 Toyota Corolla) to get to work, to get to the gym (basketball player) and to hang out with friends, had her car die on the way home from work. Total cost $1,000 to fix her battery, alternator and serpentine hose. I helped cover those costs till she and her brother (who will be borrowing the car during the school year) can pay me back. Eldest daughter, who is a single mom, found out her car (2013 Chevy Captiva) was overheating...cause is a cracked radiator and something with the coolant...total cost $900. She does not have the money for that so she is without a car until she gets enough paychecks to pay for it. I am her ride to and from work and her toddler's ride to and from a babysitter until she gets the funds saved up. My car? Oh it's the worst! At first it was in the shop for an oil change and air conditioner issue that they are trying to diagnose by adding freon and dye. The a/c lasted for a day, but is no longer cooling. And now the transmission, (along with a few hoses/belts)is dying!!! Rough estimate is over $5,000!! My car is a 2007 Ford Freestyle. so the transmission repairs will be WAY WAY more than the value of the car, so this fundraiser is to help this single mama of 5 get a new more reliable used car. I also intend to use about $500 of the money raised to help my eldest daughter get her car repairs done faster. Thank you so much, every dollar helps and is appreciated by my family and I!!!
