Hello and Good Day!

I am writing to you today on behalf of two incredible young boys who need your help. Oliver and Timothy Miller.

Oliver is an 8 years old boy who is full of life. At 2 years old he was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. A genetic disease that causes progressive muscle weakness and loss of movement. Despite his medical condition, he has a contagious smile that will brighten up every room he enters. He loves to spend time with his friends and family, playing baseball with his challenger buddies, playing video games and building legos.

His older brother Timothy is a 10-year-old boy with a heart of gold. His Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita Syndrome affects the muscles and joints of the body, also making his movement difficult. This presents its own set of challenges, but he never lets that slow him down. He is a singer at heart and will sing at every chance he gets, loves to watch football, build legos and playing video games with his brother.

Oliver and Timothy have been best friends since birth and they share a truly special bond. They have captured our hearts with their strength, and determination despite their challenges. They are both optimistic and they never let their disabilities define them or hold them back. However, getting around can be a real challenge, as they both rely on heavy power wheelchairs to get from place to place and the family is currently struggling to provide them with a convenient, safe way to transport both of these wheelchairs.

On top of the boy's issues, the mom was recently diagnosed with a plethora of medical conditions and is unable to work full-time. Dad is the main caretaker as they do not have nursing care due to a lack of home-care nurses. Dad is also the lifter to transport the boys to and from bed, chairs, showers, etc. So he is unable to work himself. As you can imagine, the cost of a wheelchair van can substantial! That's why we are reaching out to you today. We are raising funds to purchase a wheelchair van for Oliver and Timothy and with your support, we can make this dream a reality. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in their lives. The van would be specially equipped to accommodate their needs, making it easier for them to get around town, go to doctor's appointments, and even take trips to visit family and friends.

We believe that every child deserves the ability to have more independence and the freedom to explore the world around them. We want to give them that chance.
