One of the greatest areas of learning for me has been learning how to receive. I am naturally a giver... to a fault!!! What I mean by that is I am always in the posture of giving. However, when it is my turn to receive the reciprocation I clam up and almost push it away. I am very grateful for the growth in this area and realizing I am worth the love and reciprocation! With that being said I have also had to learn how to solicit help when it is needed. As hard as it is to admit.... there is great need in this season!! And this season includes the road to 40!!! (Yay!!!!) Such an amazing milestone for me!!! A milestone that was projected for me to never see from birth. A milestone that prayerfully will accompany some major goals and accomplishments!! Below I will share some of the reasons there is a need and reasons why I am humbling myself to ask my village for help.

December 2021 the company I worked for decided restructuring and downsizing was best for them displacing several of those in management including myself. With that being said home ownership and all that comes along with that has been majorly challenged and leave me facing large balances of which I have to rectify soon. (Mortgage, vehicle, insurance, utilities etc.)

While being unemployed I was hit with several unexpected expenses including home vandalism/ unexpected out of pocket repairs, automobile repairs which still need to be done. (And there is more...)

The road to 40 allowed me to pursue new business ventures as well as endeavoring in a dual degree. (Prior to job displacement) Now as the end of the year approaches I face entrepreneurial fees, funds for marketing and re-branding needs as well as graduation fees with a 9 month lack of income. (Graduation quickly approaching in December)

2022 has brought some health challenges that have led to some great expenses and needs. (Id be happy to share more privately if you would like to know more)

Overall there are some personal needs (yes needs not wants) that are very present and not accomplishable with the lack of finances.

Now let me be clear God has been more than good and very faithful and gracious towards me in this season!! However after much prayer I strongly felt led to simply make my need known and be open to accepting some help!

So my friends, family, my village, during this milestone season I come to you making my need known and asking if you can... to help!
