My name is Theresa Yhan, and I am the granddaughter of Benjamin and Mary Moody. My grandfather (Benjamin Moody) passed on Friday 10/21/22 . On Friday morning my grandfather received the news that his health would continue to decline and he would need to be put on a ventilator for the remainder of his life. By Friday afternoon, my grandfather passed inside of his hospital room. My grandmother is now dealing with the shock of suddenly becoming a Widow, alongside living with Alzheimer's. My grandmother is absolutely heartbroken as my grandpa has taken care of her the last 38 years, especially after she was diagnosed with rapid early onset Alzheimer's in 2019. My grandmother had trouble remembering how to pump her own gas the first time she had to fill up alone because that was something her husband always handled. Our entire family is traumatized. We lost my mom in 2014, all my grandmother has right now is me and my little sister to keep her going and we are doing our best but we are struggling. I am asking on behalf of my grandma for any sort of financial assistance to help us get through this horrifying time. Any donations made will be used for my grandfather's memorial service and to keep my grandmother afloat. My grandma does not have my grandpa anymore, but she still has monthly bills, debt, and medical expenses weighing on her. Any amount is sincerely appreciated, as we know many are suffering in this economy as well.
