WILD LOVE REBELLION
The grunge band from Kentucky...that NEVER MADE IT! But you knew that last part already, right? Wild Love Rebellion played in the Lexington area for several years during the early and mid 90's. The band even recorded an entire album, "Wake UP...or let me sleep..." at Barrick Studios in Glasgow, KY but broke up in 1995 before it could ever be released.
However, that has changed!
The album has finally been released along with a separate book, "Wild Love Words" that acts as an integral companion, collecting all the lyrics with reflections from Singer and Band-Founder "Bobby" Robert Christopher Smith.
BOTH are currently available through Amazon.com and several other channels but through this fundraiser for the next TWO ROCK VIDEOS, you may be able to get signed copies of each as rewards from Smith himself!
WHAT IS THE MONEY FOR?
As you can see with the video, "One More Way", we are able to accomplish a lot with very little. That video cost less than a thousand dollars for us to shoot. However, there is a plan in the works to shoot a FEATURE MOVIE in 2019, and two additional rock videos in the interim.
The money from this fundraiser will be used for shooting the next two videos, but give us the ability to take the production levels (during and post-shoot) to another level. We plan to continue building an audience for Wild Love Rebellion over two decades late-- as we lead up to the shoot for our semi-musical, semi-autobiographical feature movie in 2019. (A PORTION OF ALL DONATIONS WILL HELP SAVE THE ETHIOPIAN RED WOLF THROUGH WCN--we will post an update at the end of campaign with a total donation to them!)
What songs will get the videos?
1. NIGHT-- This was always one of our most popular songs and I have thought of video ideas for over 20 years. In order to do this right, we definitely need more money for more shooting time, higher quality cameras and we are trying to bring on named talent.
2. YOU decide! Every person who donates ANY amount of money can VOTE! All you need to do is put the name of the song in your "note" after tipping, and at the end of this promotion, we will count the votes and produce a HIGH-QUALITY video for the winner! *See List of Songs Below Rewards!
