I found Patsy and Willie on the streets of Texas in February, 2024. The stray animal problem in that area is horrific, with every shelter full, many shelters euthanizing animals, domestic roadkill, and animals running loose. Willie and Patsy fell into my lap one morning while visiting the area, and I found I could not bring myself to leave them. I brought them home and we are all doing wonderful together. But—there are so many animals in need that are still out there, alone and starving on the streets. I want to join the incredible community of folks across the country who are devoting their lives to helping these animals. All I really need to get started is a vehicle, gas, supplies for the animals I rescue, and a tenacious approach. Your donations will help me with all of that and also ensure preliminary vet care for those that need it. My dream is to rescue and find homes for as many animals as possible, while simultaneously addressing the issue of population growth. These animals need to be fixed, fed, and loved, and I want to do that for them. Your donation could be the difference between another night on the streets and their first night in their furever home.
