Hay!!! It's that time to start preparing for Winter. Our biggest concern is hay. Our roads become pretty unpassable once it starts snowing/raining. Which means getting hay is nearly impossible. As well as very expensive with fuel and bales going for $14-20 anywhere within driving distance.

Previously we had 425 bales delivered (thank you to all of you who made that possible 💕) for $5000. Prices and fuel have gone up a bit since then. I am working with the broker to find another grower with the previous low cost, but just in case I've set the goal at $6000.

Having a good supply of hay during winter is a MAJOR help and ensures everyone stays fed and warm no matter the weather.
