We're Bryn and Seth - two writers who've given birth to an original new children's musical titled You're It!. This baby of ours could use a little time in an incubator, so we're bringing it to Valley Youth Theatre for a two week workshop.

While we've got the stage and the cast, what we haven't got are the funds. That's why we're producing a fundraising concert at Valley Youth Theatre called The Fools Who Dream.

Lucky for us, more than 20 of the Valley's most renowned performers have donated their time to be featured in two productions of this concert on Monday, April 17 at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. The proceeds from each $18 ticket funds our workshop with Valley Youth Theatre and the development of You're It!

If you can't make it to the concert but would still like to support us, you can consider donating here on FreeFunder.

Wait, but what's this show all about? Well, here's five things you should know:

1. It's an original children's musical.
2. It's inspired by the experiences of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey. ...that's right. No typo.
3. There's a country-music score. Think fiddles, yodels and steel guitar.
4. We tackle topics like civic duty, criminal injustice and abuse of power.
5. And it's still hilarious.

Oh, and kids. It's for kids, with kids, workshopped by kids. Kids, kids, kids. Future of the world. You get it.

Thanks so much!
