On May 23d, 2024, Yatzie T. Dee has crossed into the spirit world.
Yatzie was a man of resilience, love, grace, courage and dignity. Born in San Carlos Reservation, AZ. on July 10, 1951, he was proud of his Chiricahua Apache roots. As an artist and through his artwork he dedicated his life to testify about his Apache heritage, trying to keep his legacy alive for future generations.
He will be deeply missed and cherished, always.
