It's official, my uterus has got to go! With a history of uterine cancer in my lineage and a sister who recently was diagnosed with endometriosis (during her own hysterectomy) my doctor and I decided now is the time. My surgery is scheduled for June 2, and I need approximately 5,000 to cover expenses and copay.

Any extra funds (if reached) will go to help us cover living expenses as my wife misses work to care for me and as I recover over the summer. I will be missing out on my usual summer job, as the recovery will take about 6 weeks. My goal is to be up and running in time for school to start in the fall so I can meet my students healthy and ready to guide their learning!
