We are the Farleys. We are trying to financially help a single mother of four children, by helping their family move closer to a children's hospital for specialized treatment.  Please read the entire campaign to more fully understand the situation. (PLEASE SHARE.)

Because of certain scary, and life-threatening circumstances from Ashley's (not actual name) ex-husband, we will keep her identity safe and confidential. Ashley is a strong, humble, and loyal mother who seeks to help others. She seeks to be independent, and is often found serving others. She has been on disability because of a recent stroke, and has not received consistent child support from her ex-husband.

Her oldest daughter, Amanda (not actual name), has been undergoing many intense treatments for an unknown problem at a children's hospital 2.5 hours away.  Amanda is a young teenager. The doctors recently diagnosed her with a neurological degenerative disorder, with dementia. Among other things, the doctors also suspect that she has CADASIL, which is an inherited condition that causes strokes and other impairments. (This condition affects blood flow in small blood vessels, particularly cerebral vessels within the brain.) Amanda has poor blood flow to her brain cells and has damage deep within her brain; she is having hundreds of tests done. She is now having an intermittently high blood pressure, which brings its own dangerous complications.

Ashley's younger daughter, Jessica (not actual name), was hospitalized twice last year for over two weeks, as a result of atypical eating disorder, body dysmorphia, and anorexia. This is an ongoing issue for Jessica. Her oldest son, John (not actual name), was recently diagnosed with an untreatable eye condition called optic disc drusen. The ophthalmologist said that the optic nerves in both of his eyes are compressed, which could mean that he may require surgery on his eyes.

Ashley has great insurance, but in order to meet her children's needs, she needs to live close to the children's hospital, which is currently hours away. If Amanda has another medical emergency, she will need to be life-flighted because of the distance; she faces the risk of death, if not treated immediately. Currently, the doctors at the children's hospital are talking about the possibility of transferring Amanda's case across the country, to the Mayo Clinic in Massachusetts. Understandably, this is very hard on Ashley and her family.

Here is where we need your help:

Amanda needs to live close to the children's hospital. The cost of living remotely near the hospital is three times as expensive as where she lives now. She barely can pay her current rent because of a lack of child support and limited disability income.

She also needs to cover the deficiency of her car loan, so that she can sell her car for a cheaper vehicle.  She is trying to relieve her family from unnecessary financial burdens, and take care of her children's needs.

Any donated money will specifically be used for:

- The car deficiency and sale

- Rent for the first six months near the hospital during critical stages of testing

- Costs of moving, and needed assistance in living costs
